Road to the Masters EA Invitational

To captivate and build relevance to a younger adjacent audience, the Masters paired up with EA Sports to support and promote the launch of EA SPORTS PGA TOUR: Road to the Masters. A cross-section of participants from the worlds of sports, entertainment, gaming and social media convened in Augusta National's Press Building to play the game live. The event took place the Sunday before the Masters Tournament and included the following participants/teams:

  • Tony Finau, PGA TOUR Professional playing with Garrett Hilbert, Dude Perfect

  • Lexi Thompson, LPGA Tour Professional playing with Tim The Tatman, Content Creator

  • Josh Allen, NFL Quarterback playing with Iona Stephen, Golf Broadcaster

  • Eric Church, Country Music Star playing with Roger Steele, Golf Content Creator

  • Develop a dynamic logo lockup, craft stage design concepts, and brainstorm creative elements to enhance and energize the gaming exhibition experience.

  • For the stage design, we combined the Masters’ classic elegance with modern touches, featuring leather chairs, historic memorabilia, and course-inspired signage and greenery. The result was an engaging and immersive atmosphere that honored tradition while feeling fresh and contemporary.

    Each team was paired with experienced Tournament caddies to provide authentic insights on navigating the course and add a sense of camaraderie and fun. They made the event more dynamic and memorable.

    We also reimagined the Masters iconic green jacket into a modern, stylish design. This updated trophy retained its classic significance while appealing to a new generation of players and fans.
